Who we are

Pago is the app for household payments in Romania, and we are working towards making it a success in Poland, Italy and a few other countries during the next five years. Our users' aha moment is seeing all their bills on one screen and being able to pay them all with one confirmation.

Our mission is to help people better manage and pay their household bills. Since we launched the app in 2017, we processed over 9 million payments worth more than 1 billion lei. You can find a timeline of our journey here

You are the right candidate for this role if you have previous testing experience, you are willing to help grow our QA team and improve our processes and practices.

As part of the day to day activities, you will focus on regression, integration and acceptance testing for the Pago mobile app. This means that you will be responsible for end to end testing (manual and automated testing) to ensure that we keep delivering a great experience to our users. We have one of Romania's highest-rated finance apps, and we would like to keep it that way.

The job can be fully remote, or if you choose so, you can work from our office near Charles de Gaulle square in Bucharest - the Aviatorilor station is a 5 minutes walk away.

Responsibilities

Identify and log bugs in Jira

Write test cases & docs in Confluence

Participate in daily calls

Working with Postman

Assist the development team in debugging and replicating issues

Excellent written Romanian skills and comfortable to work in English

Strong communication/presentation skills - when describing bugs as well as improvements

Knowledge of Rest API is a plus, programming knowledge / OOP is a plus

Must have

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong analytical skills: ability to write functional specifications based on high-level requirements and to clarify the requirements

Good understanding of software application development processes and defect life-cycl

Minimum 2 years of practical experience in software testing (manual & automation)

Ability to create use cases, convert them into test cases

Be a quick learner and have a desire to learn the domain and its business processes

Nice to have

Foundation level ISQTB

Mobile apps testing experience

Experience with testing mobile apps optimized for accessibility
